Thyristor Diode Modules consist of 1 diode and 1 thyristor (SCR) in a combination of 3 types of circuits. The diodes can be arranged in Series, Common Anode or Common Cathode configuration, depending on the requirement. These thyristor modules feature glass-passivated chips and electrically isolated packages, typically with a copper baseplate or a DCB alumina (Al₂O₃) substrate.
The Thyristor Diode Modules are used in online/offline inverters, battery chargers, power supplies, motor drives, single and three phase bridge circuits, industrial welders & heat/temperature control circuits.
